Jason Gowie

Jason has over 25 years’ experience across a number of industry sectors including Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services. Most recently Jason was the CEO & Executive Director of ASX listed retailer Godfreys Group. Prior to this role he held the role of Divisional General Manager Sales & Service with Medibank Private during its IPO on the ASX in 2014. He has gained extensive experience running practice-based healthcare businesses in his role as Managing Director Australia and New Zealand with Hearing Healthcare Company Oticon Australia. Oticon Australia is one of the largest audiology companies in Australia employing over 600 staff across its network of 180 clinics and is part of the Demant Group, a global Hearing Healthcare Company listed on the Danish stock exchange.


Janita Robba

Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Janita has extensive financial, commercial and governance experience working in both publicly listed and private companies in a range of industries including animal health, property, funds management, aviation, travel and professional accounting and legal services. Janita’s areas of expertise include financial management and treasury, acquisitions, business integration, business strategy, company secretarial and corporate governance. She has worked across a number of companies including Ernst & Young, Flight Centre and National Veterinary Care.


Lily Wegrzynowski

General Manager Eyecare & Professional Services

Lily is a registered optometrist with over 30 years of experience in clinical and management roles in the optical industry. She has worked with independent and corporate businesses in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. Most recently Lily was the Chief Business Development Officer of EyeQ Optometrists, managing the Human Resources and Franchise Associate functions for the EyeQ Group, having joined the business in 2010. Previous leadership positions included Regional Eyecare Manager for the Luxottica group, managing and recruiting optometrists over 70 optical outlets. She has extensive background serving on Optometry Boards including the Optometrists Association Australia Board (WA Division) for over 10 years including 3 years as President, the Optometrists Registration Board of WA and joined the Deakin Optometry Advisory Board in 2012 when the new school of Optometry opened in Deakin University, Victoria.


Paula Sadler

General Manager, Marketing & Managed Services

Paula is a senior marketing and management professional with over 20 years experience working in both publicly listed and private companies across industries including animal health, sport, entertainment, retail and a large full-service marketing agency. She has a strong background in B2B marketing, marketing strategies, customer relationship marketing, digitally-led and integrated marketing communications.


Paul Morley

General Manager, People and Culture

Paul has over 20 years of Human Resources and Learning & Development experience as a senior leader in the Retail, Finance and Health Care sectors. He has gained valuable experience working for a number of well-known Australian owned and international companies including Specsavers, Kinetic Super, Europcar International, Boost Juice and most recently Sushi Sushi.


Emma Solanki

Practice Development Manager

Emma has 22 years’ experience in the Optometry sector, she understands well the unique challenges facing independent practices having held Dispenser and Practice Manager roles, plus experience working for Optical suppliers and more recently a privately owned Optometry group as a Business Manager.


George Nilas

Practice Development Manager

George has over 10 years’ experience in the Optometry sector. He spent 4 years as Queensland Regional Manager with Bailey Nelson and prior to this was Store Manager of their flagship Brisbane CBD store. He is a qualified dispenser and has also worked in a variety of roles with Specsavers, iLab Optics and OPSM
